Despite Eron’s Bubonic Plague (she’s had the flu since Tuesday) and our usual tendency to be fashionably late, we actually got out of the house before 10 AM – we’re finally on our way!

We dropped off the truck in Anacortes and even with a stop for lunch at Subway, Eron’s dad was able to drop us off at Sea-Tac by 2:08 PM. This had to be the smoothest voyage through to the gate I have ever experienced. We were checked in, through TSA Security, and sitting at Gate S11 by 2:45 PM. And the aircraft is already waiting at the gate; we’re scheduled to board at 4:30 PM and be wheels-up by 5:30 PM.

Next stop… Dubai! By the time I next post, we should be in our hotel room at the Dubai airport. Apparently, there are places to light-up a cigar in the airport….
