June 22: Serengeti National Park

Kudu Camp, Tanzania to Dik Dik Camp, Serengeti

Siringet… Maasai for “endless plains”.

Siringet

The great Serengeti… what more do we need to say (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Serengeti)…

Serengeti Gate.

Dik Dik Campsite, Serengeti. There is no game fence around the site.

Serengeti sundowner. Notice the Johnnie Walker Red on the ground.

Hope you had one for me! lol!
Great pics and thanks for the giraffe ones,,,, never managed to get one of them on film!

    • Good eye spotting the bottle on the ground. Yep, Johnnie Walker Red Label… in Africa, it has many important uses… among them are using it to rinse when brushing your teeth and actually drinking it.

  3. Nothing else could complete such a day but a sundowner! I love camping in the bush without fences.
